Born in 1992 to musical parents, Travis Daggett began playing guitar at the age of 14. Starting out playing gospel music with his preacher father, Travis quickly branched out after discovering, and falling in love with, the music of the 1950’s on labels such as Memphis’ Sun Records and Chicago’s Chess. Since then he has continued to build an impressive career for himself as a hired gun on lead guitar, working with countless artists and bands throughout Southern California.
Based out of the greater Los Angeles area since 2012, Daggett has been performing all over the globe - from across the USA to Africa, Asia, Canada, Mexico and Disneyland - and has shared the stage with musicians from all walks of life - Tom Jones, Mickey Dolenz (The Monkees), John Stamos, King Leg, Chris Shiflett (Foo Fighters), J.W. Brown (Jerry Lee Lewis Band), Neil Morrow (Jesse & the Rippers), Big Sandy, Buzz Campbell (Hot Rod Lincoln, Lee Rocker), Russell Scott, Jonny Bowler (Guana Batz), Eugene Edwards (Dwight Yoakam Band), Brian Whelan... the list is ever growing. He's also one the country's premiere guitarists for 1950's era Elvis tribute artists, and has channeled the late, great Scotty Moore behind premiere Elvis entertainers such as Scot Bruce, Dean Z, Brandon Bennett, Cody Ray Slaughter and many more.
In 2017 Travis formed the Travis Daggett Trio. Travis' blazing guitar playing, coupled with his soulful voice and backed up by a rhyhm section that shares his passion for midcentury music, lovingly and electrically celebrate the sounds of a bygone era.
"Am I listening to Scotty Moore?! Made me feel like I was back in time!" - J.W. Brown
(Bassist; original Jerry Lee Lewis band)
